从SSCI即社会科学引文索引（Social Sciences Citation Index），和A&HCI(arts & humanities citation index)看湖南高校人文社科的研究实力-怎一个“忧”字了得
（数据：2003-目前）
几点感想：
（1） 湖南高校整体的SSCI记录不行，A&HCI甚至尚未实现“0“的突破；
（2） 在SSCI的核心域，经济和管理界所发文章太少，湖南大学两篇和中南大学两篇（均非第一作者单位）；可见湖南的大学商学院确实拿不出手。比较滑稽的是，名声很响的湖南的中南大学商学院院长陈晓红的记录为“0”；湖大工管学院新任院长黎建强一个人就有42篇（但不是以湖大名义发表的，单位为香港城市大学）。两个商学院院长的水平一比较就可知高下（好的太好，差的太差！）。（湖大原院长陈收的SSCI记录也是“0”）
（3） 中南和湖南师大的SSCI 记录绝大部分集中在医学和心理学方面（中南有19篇），跟两校的医学和心理学学科设置有关。
（4） SSCI和A&HCI代表着高校在社科（经济、管理、法学等核心社会科学）和人文（文学、历史、哲学）等方面的研究实力；除掉在心理学和医学护理方面的文章，湖南的几个大学可以说还没起步。不要再窝里斗了，好好合作才是正途。
